2) Is it true that there are government and utility company incentives available for IntelliShade products?

Yes, but it varies from location to location. www.dsireusa.org has information about incentives in your area.

3) What kind of energy savings can I see from installing your products?

According to the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, HVAC and Lighting are responsible for 51% of a home's power bill and 57% of a business's home power bill, on average. Because IntelliShade™ products can easily be set to control the amount of light and heat that enters and exits a building at various times of day and seasons, energy savings can be substantial. 4) What is the expected life of your products?

Life expectancy is approximately 10 years, though installations can last many years longer. Factors such as exposure to UV light, ON/OFF cycles, and quality of installation will prolong or shorten life. All our products have been tested to last a minimum of 100,000 ON/OFF cycles (more than most people will see in 100 years of continuous use).

5) What colors do your products come in?

All our products ship as white from our factory. They are compatible with most window films, so infinite color selections are possible.

6) How does InvisiShade compare to the typical lower-priced made-in-China films?

1. InvisiShade will be cheaper over time. Typical Chinese films are prone to premature yellowing, cracking, leaking, and total failure. InvisiShade's proprietary technology ensures industry-leading UV stability and longevity.

2. InvisiShade is clearer. The Chinese films are based on 30 year old technology, whereas InvisiShade is based on its own proprietary 21st century technology. Chinese films are typically so cloudy in their "clear" mode that the effect is similar to having cataracts when looking through it.

Installation

All InvisiShade films were engineered to operate on household 110VAC current, making them no more complicated to wire up than a simple two-wire light. For further convenience, they are compatible with all conventional 110V light switches, dimmers, and inexpensive remote control units available at any home improvement store.

Every InvisiShade product is covered by our exclusive InvisiShade Two Year Limited Warranty for ultimate peace of mind.

Terms

InvisiShade (Manufacturer) shall warranty the satisfactory performance of the supplied products for two years from the purchase date from an Authorized Dealer. Said warranty shall be void if installation contractor fails to use specified installation procedures and all other installation specifications.

The customer purchasing InvisiShade products from an Authorized Dealer may select either replacement of the products or credit for the invoiced price. InvisiShade is not responsible for the cost of removing the defective products, or installing the new products involved in replacement.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Failure due to improper installation
  • Environmental conditions or use exceeding design standards
  • Damages resulting from : vandalism, accidents, incorrect installation, inadequate maintenance, neglect, misuse, or abuse
  • Alternation, application, or attachment of unapproved materials and coating
  • Power surges from the power company
